Not the best food I've had before... But the ambiance was good. The reception was surely 5 star! I've been to Sheraton before for a Christmas banquet/smorgasbord and they served oysters, prawns and lobsters. Maybe they underestimated highschool-ers and decided to go cheap on us.
The formal ticket price was $118, so I guess that goes into the bond, facility reservation, DJ and MC, unlimited drinks (sad to say, only Coca-Cola and Lemonade, no fancy concoctions) and probably a $20 meal comprising of the above.

Not to be picky, but two things I noticed from this.
1) you write your dates yyyy/mm/dd
Strange...
2) Also, the venue for the tech formal was L'Aqua.
Besides that, you're doing a good job. Nice hearing about your experiences. Ahh, Mongolian beef guy is a total legend, that's the kind of story you remember and retell as an icebreaker.
I'm sure there will not be too long a wait until your next howler.
