So it is Father's Dayish slash my dad's birthday around this time. I knew I would be busy in the following weeks working on my projects, so in the midst of my mid semester break I headed to the groceries to cook a dinner in my dad's interest. That is, Chinese food.
I don't think I've handled much Chinese food before...except for the fact that I've witnessed it my whole life via my grandma cooking and my parents; who own a restaurant. I was slightly challenged by this. But I knew that it was in my blood to be able to do this haha
I aimed for a very 'home' styled cooking so that when dad finished work, he could come home to feel like his mum had cooked. He never seems to appreciate my non-chinese cooking. This was nothing fancy schmancy, but it was pleasant to see my dad enjoy it thoroughly.

| Normal rice is so chat. Add some Shallot & 'lap cheoung' (i.e. waxed sausages) before steaming the rice + sesame oil and you will result in some aromatic rice |

| Beef bones & Vegetable soup |
Anyway, that's all for now.
Keep Reading. Continue Enjoying.
