"Rhodes IKEAAs we arrived at Rhodes, we headed towards IKEA for some interior-designed food. It was all so colourful and ergonomically friendly for our body(!):

The ideas of the Swedish cuisine were interesting, very appetizing and healthy.
Great lunch, but nothing I'd hold a birthday party over.

Me and Diana used to love this place and I almost put my deposit for one of the 2-bedroom Aptmt there until we did a bit of research on Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhodes,_New_South_Wales
You can still go to Rhodes for foods, movies, IKEA or even stroll along the river with your love one. But for the sake of your health, don't live there.
@ Phat Panda: Yeah, I was doing some extra research on it (wikipedia isn't always reliable as anyone can edit it and may be subject to bias)- it seems that the remediation plan was aimed to be completed by the end of 2008, then later postponed to August 2010 now further postponed to February 2011! So you're quite right that this place poses as a health risk. Thanks for sharing it with me. But I was deceived by the appearance of the water, it has certainly improved since the last time they took an aerial shot for Google Maps, its actually blue now. As for the dust, yeah I saw a mountain of black construction stuff on the parkland. Maybe when I buy a house the rehabilitation of Rhodes will be 100% livable.
I guess for now I'll also have to keep looking for a parallel paradise. Wolli Creek apartments?
YOU GO TO ST GEORGE GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL?! *faints*
Wow...only hot, sexy, smart girls go there ;)
@ Amy: Especially if they're in Ms Glissan's Maths class AND do Visual Arts at the same time! ;)
@ Leona: good to see your blog attracting more followers...As long as you are living with your love one - no matter you are living in a million-dollar mansion, or a tiny-fibro cottage - you're in heaven.
@ Phat Panda: Haha, yeah I agree. But having a nice humble abode is also heaven-like haha
To you and all those reading;
Merry Christmas!
Considered :)
Only time will tell whether that place is inhabitable.
Xxxmuahp~!
